Summary: Defective... great service from hottest deals ever
Comment: I have purchased these universal battery chargers before, and they are a low cost alternative to replacing a cell phone. In past circumstances my daughter has bent a pin in the charger socket and was left with a cell phone that could not be charged. These chargers will do the trick.
I ordered from HDE and received a defective product. They had great customer service and offered a new item or refund. Even though the the product was defective I would order from HDE again. Had to give a low rating because the product was defective. HDE gets 5 stars for customer service.

Summary: Not a very good product.
Comment: This product is cheaply made and of very poor quality. The one I received did not work. The indicator lights would not change color to let me know if it was charging or when it was done, no matter which way I switched the polarity. The retractable plug-in prongs broke when I droped it lightly, 3 feet to a vinyl floor. No instructions and no english printed on the box. Very delicate product that will not last under normal use.

Summary: Fantastic Little Device!
Comment: A few months ago, my cell damaged by sweat while I was exercising. All of the other fuctions still work but the cell phone will not recharge the battery. I took the cell phone to Sprint for repair but the Sprint repair technician said that it could not be repaired and I needed a new phone.
I purchased the Universal Mobile Battery Charger(much cheaper than a new cell phone) and my problems were solved. It does a fantastic job of recharging my cell phone battery. It is very easy to use and I think that it actually works better for recharging the battery than the cell phone. Actually, I find it very convenient for keeping a spare battery on charge so that I always have a fully charged battery ready for use in my cell phone. I highly recommend this product.

Summary: It Works!
Comment: I have a Magellan Explorist 500 with a LION battery, actually very similar to a Motorola SNN5595 cell phone battery. The charging interface on the GPS is terrible. It doesn't make a positive contact, then after awhile it just quits working altogether. Even when it does work, you don't have a sense of how charged the battery is. Thus, the need for this gizmo, an external Li-on cell battery charger.
Don't be fooled by the price. This thing works. It is quite light due to plastic construction, but is put together well. Also, it appears it will work on any 3.7V Lion cell battery as advertised.
I am giving the charger only four stars for the following reasons:
1.The writing on the box including instructions are in CHINESE.
2.The only English on it indicates it is for 220V outlet. Nonetheless, it seems to work fine at 110V.
Here are the instructions as I know them:
Adjust the contact pins, it may take a little effort, to meet the + and - contacts on the battery.
If the first light does not go on, push the only button on the unit which will reverse, and correct, polarity.
Plug unit into the wall. It took approx 6 hours to charge my 1400mAh (very large) gps/cell phone battery.
Magellan 400/500/600 GPS owners absolutely need one of these for their OEM Li-on battery.
