Moonbeams gently illuminate golden blossoms as they lie strewn in the dark, liquid purple night of the temple courtyard. The small repetitive floral motif used in the Purple Moon design is referred to as a Sanganeri print. It is characteristic of the famed prints sourced from Sanganer, a tiny village in Rajasthan seeped in generations of block printing mastery.
