The MIXXO by Bosch, launched in partnership with celebrity chef Todd English as part of his popular Todd English Collection, is a revolutionary handheld blender that prepares scrumptious sauces and refreshing drinks without the hassle of a cord or plug. The Mixxo is the first cordless hand-held immersion blender in the world to use Lithium ion batteries. Lithium batteries are lighter in weight and smaller in design than the other types. They do not suffer from the memory effect and the battery lifespan remains relatively unaffected even if kept plugged in after they have been fully charged. Other rechargeable batteries may degrade in these circumstances. Lithium ion batteries provide sufficient power for all mixing/blending needs in the kitchen, including ice-crushing capability and also deliver constant power for up to 20 minutes. An LED charge level indicator gives feedback at any time about the remaining energy reserves. A two-button safety switch system is part of the ergonomic soft-touch handle. The detachable, dishwasher safe, stainless steel blender foot offers an anti-splash design. The kit includes a chopper, a wall or table charging station, and a mixing container.

Comment: Handy gadget - more powerful than I anticipated from a battery operated device. Easy to clean, nice charging station - Bosch quality. Lots of fun to experiment with - make your own hummus. Little chopper perfect for less than 1 cup qualtities - like nuts for baking.

Summary: Hand Blenders Rock
Comment: I started using hand blenders when my first baby was born. I made him all of his food at home and there was nothing easier than the hand blender. Fast Forward 15 years and I'm on my 4th blender. I like the Bosch brand and had seen this one with a renoun Chef's name added. I got a much better price here. The blender itself is not very powerful, but sufficient for most easy jobs. I really like the fact that it is cordless.

Comment: I burned up the motor on two (2) BRAUN handheld mixer/chopper making just
a simple humus. Braun may make some good products but I shall never purchase anything else from that maker. My BOSCH is powerful/a real workhorse and I thrilled to have it.

Summary: Great for the outdoor
Comment: Since I cater part time. I often have to have use of a blender/mixer/chopper and this Mixxo proved perfect to use, especially at an outdoor event.. I had the chance to use this machine for the first time on the 4th of July and it was great since we where outside I thought this would be the perfect time to put this to the test since it's cordless, and I wouldn't have to miss out on any of the activities by leaving the party and going inside to have use of the electricity. I could continue to enjoy myself while also preparing drinks, sauces and and it made some of the best smashed potatoes for salad..This worked out perfect and my friends where interested in purchasing.
