Can't sleep? Pop a Golden Slumbers bath bomb in your bath and be nodding off before you know it. Nothing relaxes like lavender and chamomile and with loads of both, this bomb is sure to send you straight to sleep. When you're surrounded by lavender blossoms and the calming oils of chamomile and neroli, just try to stay awake!

Summary: Calming, Soothing Lavender
Comment: This is a bath bomb with a purpose, and its purpose is to induce sleep. A hefty ball of lavender fizziness, Golden Slumbers creates a strong but not overwhelming lavender scent in the bathwater, and allows for a relaxing aromatherapy soak. The top of the bomb is covered with gold shimmer (hence, golden slumbers) though this pretty much disappears in the water. Lush does aromatherapy very well, and this is no exception. I'm too much of an insomniac for this to actually put me to sleep, but it's a lovely, relaxing, lavender bath.

Summary: Golden Slumbers Truly Golden ... And Slumber-y
Comment: I have been suffering from lack of sleep lately because of a new work schedule. After a long day, I slumped into a bath with this bomb -- and its bits of lavender -- and a good book. Even after the water cooled down, I stayed in for the herbal-floral aromatherapy. I was so happy and calm when I slipped into bed; I'm sure I would've slept better if my husband hadn't ruffled me when he came to bed several hours later after band practice. :) I will buy this bomb again. The light, fresh, girly aroma lasts on the skin -- and made my hair smell fab for a day, too. The box did take awhile to arrive here in the D.C. area -- but the Web site said it would! (And it was worth the wait.) Up next: Butterball and Geo Phyzz.

Summary: Smells nice, but put it in a stocking
Comment: The smell is great, also makes the skin nice and soft. The bits of lavendar look like little bugs and are a pain to clean out after the relaxing bath-not exactly what i want to be doing after a bath. Avoid this by putting the bath ball in an old nylon before putting in the water.

Summary: Intoxicating Lavender Bath
Comment: Depending on your mood (and the time of day you take a luscious bath with the Golden Slumbers bath ballistic) you could either end up feeling especially sleepy or especially interested in going out on a date or staying home swapping massages with the lovely LUSH massage bars. The comforting warmth of the bath with generous quantities of lavender oil and lavender flowers is blended with chamomile oil and Neroli oil. The Golden sparkle is pretty, but washes off easily.
Most of what you feel while in the bath is the lavender blossoms tickling your skin as you move about. The bath ballistic won't give you any bubbles, so a bit of a bubble bar should do the trick. Follow this bath with the lovely Sleepy Head massage bar for an even more dreamy sleep. The Therapy bar is great for couples or any of the bars are fun just to spoil your skin with rich dreamy oils and cocoa butter.
If the little bits of lavender don't sound appealing, then you might prefer the Sex Bomb ballistic with rose petals or one of the buttery bath ballistics without the flowers/herbs. The LUSH bath ballistics are so fun to use and instead of standing over the tub dropping in essential oils, you just toss one of these in the tub and watch is spin around in the water, fizzing your bath into a supremely luxurious experience. Golden Slumbers is especially moisturizing, skin soothing and relaxing. Invite your partner to scrub your back with some lovely sea salts and then promise them a massage later. This bath ballistic could be the start of a very lovely relaxing evening. Spoil yourself, you deserve it.
