Vacuuming sucks. Leave it to the Robotic Vacuum. SAVE BIG! Compact, automated and whisper quiet, it's even better than the riding vacuum cleaner that Roseanne Barr once proposed! Get in on the future of cleaning, now. The Robotic Vacuum moves on its own, getting in and out of tight spaces to thoroughly clean your carpet and floors all by itself! A must-have for high-traffic areas and households with pets. Heaven-sent for those who can't push traditional vacuum cleaners. A domestic goddess: Works on carpet (best on low pile types), as well as tile, wood floors and other hard surfaces; Attachable electrostatic paper (included) cleans hard surfaces; Ideal for use in any one-level room; Programmed with 3 modes to automatically determine which cleaning pattern to use; No electrical cord to worry about... uses 12 rechargeable AA batteries (included); Lights display battery levels during charging and sweeping; Internal bin captures dirt for easy disposal Measures 12 x 11 x 4 1/4"h., weighs 3 1/2 lbs. "Maid" for you. Robotic Vacuum

Customer Rating: Summary: Not a bad little vacuum! Comment: Just got this, and put it to work in my kitchen. It got to work roaming around, suctioning up the dog hair. When I came back at the end of the day and checked it, it had done a very admirable job of cleaning, all at about 1/3 to 1/4 the price of the Roomba. Will I still need to sweep? Absolutely. It can't get right up next to walls or in corners. But from what I read, people that own the Roomba still have to sweep, too. And this was alot less and there don't appear to be any expendable items (dust filter, swiffer cloth), that you can't obtain locally and cheaply by being a bit ingenious and handy with a pair of scissors.
One point - I don't think it will do well on carpets. No beater brush, and the suction isn't that strong. The test will be how long does it last. But so far for the money, I am pleased! It helps keep things clean between your own cleanings.
Update, after one month: This little guy is still doing a great job. I've seen it other places on Amazon for less than what I paid. If you can get it for less than $50, then you should definitly go for it. However, it really is only for hard wood or tile floors.
Customer Rating: Summary: not quite what i expected Comment: the hoover wanders around through your house; doesn't work in an efficient way. takes up at least some dust.
Customer Rating: Summary: unsatisfied Comment: i am very upset with this product. i am in a wheelchair and i got this to minimize hard work for myself. it gets stuck in corners and i cant get it out. i called to return it and i was told that i couldnt. i am on a fixed income and that was a waste of needed money for me.
