Comment: Toy didnt function tried twice with batteries. Would not buy a toy on line again it was the only place I could find it. To send back cost money where as if bought locally u just return it with no postage fee.

Comment: As I'm reading with many reviews on this toy, our son's also did not work on Christmas morning. Ours was less than $27 at Fred Meyer and we were vigilant about putting all 6 batteries and one 9 volt battery in. No worky. Played with the on/off switch, per instructions, still nothing. Will return for refund and not buy another.

Comment: tons of fun--definitely appropriate for toddlers/preschoolers for their first remote control car without the frustration of being too complicated for their ages--also love the soft rubber so if being used indooors no worries with furniture-only complaint i have is if you are using more than one bounce back racer at the same time--one controller ends up operating both at the same time---other than that highly recommended.

Summary: If your's doesn't work, make sure you put all 6 batteries in the car
Comment: My son got this car for Christmas and I thought I put all the batteries in (didn't read the instructions). I missed one battery compartment and it didn't work. Was looking for another one to replace it, but everyone is sold out. So I started looking around the internet when I read someone else's review and it said about needing 6 batteries in the car. So I pulled out the instructions and there it was, a second battery compartment that isn't too obvious. So if your's isn't working, make sure you got all of them in there.

Other then that, my son loves this car. I even had to take our Christmas tree down early as he kept running it over with the car. Very fun toy for young kids.
