Comment: I have used all my add a bottle Plant Nanny Stakes and I am having very good results. On the cardboard sleeve that holds the 4 stakes together there are instructions. I didn't see them at first and I did have one large plants that the water leaked out. But after reading the instructions it was very easy to use and you can use small or large bottles. The trick is to screw in the adapters then hold your finger over the water hole when placing it into the stake. They only fit one way so you have to turn to the correct position before you can insert it. Also they should be used on pots over 6 inches. I love them.

Comment: have not yet used this product. am somewhat confused as to the correct way to use the product since no instructions came with it. am concerned if the stakes will allow water to go through to the plants.

Comment: It takes some adjustment but if you use stiff water bottles, the plant nannies work very well. Each water bottle last up to a week outside depending on the size of the pot, size of the bottle, and whether the plant is in the sun or shade.

Comment: I tried everything to get this product to work because I desperately needed vacation watering. The adaptors do not fit and there is nothing to stop the water. The adaptors just float on top and the water pours out. You can slow it down some, by tilting it, but again there is nothing to stop the water, within 15 minutes the water is all over the place. The picture does not show the adaptor so you dont' know what you are getting. I finally just took the adapter out, ugh. Now the plant doesn't get any water. The product went back. Save your money. Fill a bottle and hold it over your plant yourself.
