Summary: Great for my M-Audio MicroTrack 2!!!
Comment: I got this as a backup power source for my M-Audio MicroTrack 2 portable field recorder since the Microtrack uses an internal battery that must be sent back to have replaced.
I LOVE the compact size of this thing and lets me stay in the field in remote locations for extended periods. I'm thinking about getting a second one!!! The Microtrack will still function as normal when charging (it looks just like you plugged it in to a wall socket), so when I see my internal battery get low, just whip this puppy out and I'm good to go. It is REALLY thin and I just velcroed it to the back of the Microtrack so it acts more like a single unit.
Definately a staple in my field kit now!!! Plus the rubbery coating is a bonus!!

Summary: Worked as expected
Comment: This battery was easy to use and provided the extra battery capacity I was looking for an iPod touch for long airline trips. I had previously used a "tune-juice" battery (9v). The lenmar battery had much better capacity and was much less bulky. I use other cables than what arrived with the unit since I don't like the swappable cable ends.

Comment: Lenmar Universal Powerport Kit with AC and DC USB Power Adapter worked as advertised (don't forget to push the power button - which turns blue - so it will charge...). Price was ONLY slightly more then 1/2 Radio Shack's price.

Summary: Does NOT work with iPod Touch 2G!
Comment: I tried two of these units and neither would charge my new iPod Touch. Nor would they charge my three-year-old iPod Nano, or a friend's two-year-old iPod Classic. I called Lenmar and they said I should buy the PPUMini instead. Very infuriating to endure two shipments and returns for something that doesn't work as Amazon claims.

Summary: Doesn't work with iPhone 3G
Comment: Contrary to what some other reviewers wrote, this device is NOT compatible with the iPhone 3G. After getting the device, and having problems with it, I called Lenmar and they told me it wasn't compatible. There's apparently a minor voltage difference between the original iPhone and the 3G. They suggested the PPUMINI as an alternative that will work with the iPhone but I haven't confirmed that as yet.
