Customer Rating: Summary: A Little Practice and Your Good to Go Comment: I got this bottle when I was headed back to work and had to start my 3-month-old daughter at daycare. She was exclusively breastfed and I wanted a smooth transition to taking my breast milk from a bottle. She took to it right away which was great, however because the bottle was "too complicated" for her daycare provider she was given a traditional bottle and now refuses to take the Adiri. I really liked the bottle and once you prepare a few feedings in it you get the hang of it. There is minimal leaking when the lid is on correctly, which takes a little practice, good lighting and (contrary to the instructions) two hands. I would recommend filling it with water first to make sure the bottom and lid are put together correctly, and not waiting til your little one is screaming their head off, since I found this makes you rush and not take the time to assemble properly.
Customer Rating: Summary: It will leak more than your baby Comment: Leak, leak, leak, leak,... it will leak at the nipple, it will leak at the cover. I read good and bad reviews. I thought I give it a try because I liked the design. I regret trying. I bought 10 bottles. All 10 bottles leaked. I made absolutely sure it was dry and tightly covered. The bottle needs to be upside down to read how much milk is in it. When it's upside down it will leak at the nipple. When you turn it back over all the milk that leaked from the nipple will now be all over the bottle when you remove the cap. Then it will leak at the cover, which is on the bottom of the bottle. One leaked so bad it drained a whole 60 ml of milk while just sitting on my counter. If you don't mind dealing with a fussy bottle and a fussy baby at every feeding then get it. Not worth the price. Surprised it won an award. But, then it is a innovative design award. Functionally it sucks more than my baby. Remember I tried 10 bottles and they all leaked. You may be purchasing the 11th bottle if I would have replaced the ones I bought if I replaced it. But after going through 10 bottles and experiencing all 10 leaking why even bother getting replacements.
Customer Rating: Summary: Pretty good buy Comment: I love the bottles, but they are a little harder to use than other bottles we have. The design of them makes them more prone to leak. My son loves the shape and they are great at reducing gas.
Customer Rating: Summary: best bottle for breast-fed babies!!! Comment: My daughter was breastfed only until I had to go back to work when she was 7 weeks old. She got sick after about 2 weeks and refused to take any bottle we owned (and we tried every kind Wal-Mart, Target, and Babies R Us had to offer); all she wanted was the breast while she was sick. My husband found these fabulous bottles, that were out of stock everywhere, and paid a fortune on ebay for them. Our daughter took them the very first try. Since she has had these bottles there have been no more feeding problems. Thank you Adiri; I now do not have to worry that my daughter won't get enough to eat if I'm not home to feed her!!!
