Customer Rating: Summary: Don't waste your $$ Comment: I used these tips on two walks of three miles on a paved trail. Tips have already worn through.
Customer Rating: Summary: Very Handy Comment: They are very helpful and add exceptional functionality to my poles, however, I would say that it was a bit confusing as to where to put them at first. I tried my ears, nose and both big toes, but after extensive research on the internet, I learned that they were intended to go on the poles. Still, I wasn't sure where and again had to research the location after trying to wrestle them on over the hand grips.
I really think a DVD manual with video directions would be helpful
Customer Rating: Summary: Older Pole. Comment: I have an older pole that had a flat rubber tip that came with it. This new one works much better and holds on payment as well as hard ground. I will order more just in case they change the design.
Customer Rating: Summary: Replacement treking pole tips Comment: These replacement tips fit both of our poles just fine. They fit like they were made for them.
Customer Rating: Summary: necessary but pricy Comment: You really need this for walking on pavements. They fit nicely, but are an extra cost option, and a very pricy one when you consider you are getting two fairly small pieces of molded rubber for $10. Other makes of trekking poles that cost much less than Leki include tips in their price.
