"Goldi" pacifier, in high demand by organic-conscious parents. Pure caoutchouc (rubber) is a sustainable raw material, produced from collected tree sap of the rubber tree (Hevea brasiliensis). After the tree sap (known as latex) is harvested, proteins are isolated and discarded, and the remaining pure rubber is dried and preserved. Since allergic reaction may be caused by the proteins present in latex, this process ensures that the resulting pure rubber is a non-allergenic material.
Its protective shield is soft and flat, allowing the muscles of the mouth and the lips to have freedom of movement and thus encouraging muscle activity and development. The shield is larger than conventional pacifier shields in order to prevent the baby from squeezing the flexible material enough to fit into its mouth. The shield will also not leave marks on the baby's face.
Three large ventilation apertures help prevent skin irritation caused by prolonged contact with saliva.
The nipple is soft and malleable. As a result, the tongue has plenty of room for movement. The manufacturer calls this pacifier 'orthodontic' because of the nipple's shape.
Since the pacifiers are molded in one piece, the nipple and the shield are connected securely, thus preventing the pacifier from falling apart. Also, there are no joints or cracks for bacteria to accumulate.
The grip ring is soft and comfortable for the baby during tummy time.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE: Must be sterilized before first use by boiling for several minutes. To be washed carefully after every use under running water - should be sterilized for babies younger than six months of age.

Comment: After purchasing this paci we didn't use it very much at first. But about a week ago I started using it and my son loves it. We attached a cloth hand held paci-holder to it so when it falls it's easy to pick back up. Meets my expectations and I would definitely recommend this one to others.

Summary: Real Rubber Pacifier
Comment: Bought this as a gift for a new grandbaby. I like it because it is made from real rubber rather than plastic. Too many plastic pacifiers have BPA in them, which is high in estrogen. And, since a baby can suck on a pacifier all day and night, this can lead to serious health problems.

Summary: Best pacifier on the market!
Comment: My baby LOVES this pacifier. We started off with Gerber Nuk, but after seeing this one I thought I'd give it a try. Now my baby won't even take the Nuk.
We are starting the slow process of weaning him from pacifier... currently we just give it to him at bed/nap time, even though we have other pacifiers around the house, since they aren't THIS paci he just ignores them.
The only negative is that they turn brown after a short time... and they bounce, so when they fall on the floor it can be hard to find them.

Comment: My 6 month old loves this pacifier. She latched onto it right away, and since pacifiers have been a godsend at soothing her and helping her fall asleep, we use it quite a bit and I am so happy to have found one that is made of natural rubber.
