Like all Sharx wireless security camera kits the Sharx NightStar (tm) is very easy to use. You simply connect the included receiver to a TV (or a computer with standard NTSC video input). Then you take the camera where you want to use it, up to 150 ft away from the receiver, and plug it into power with the included AC adapter. You can immediately see video from your camera on your TV, and you can add more Sharx indoor/outdoor wireless cameras or baby monitors if you like, up to 4 total. In households near 2.4 GHz Wifi b or g networks you can use up to 2 cameras without interference as long as you follow the recommended channel selection guidelines.

Summary: Overall performance not good enough compared to Panasonic
Comment: I bought two sharx wireless cameras in October and their performance are very poor compared to the Panasonic wireless network camera BL-131A ( i have 2). Overall, the sharx cameras have limited range (less than 10 feet from the reciever) and poor performance for outdoor use, image quality very very poor. If you don't believe me, then go ahead and buy one. You will definitely regret it afterward. The two sharx cameras i had were disposed last week when the trash man came to collect the weekly garbage. Instead i bought 3 more Panasonic wireless BL-131A network cameras to replace the sharx cameras. Panasonic wireless network cameras are one of the best cameras in the market. Don't waste your money or time with the Sharx (not sharp) cameras, they are basically junk made in China. The reason i gave three stars because the customer service personal at securcam.com was very friendly & helpful, however the cameras i bought from them were basically useless.

Summary: Works, but does not have a strong signal
Comment: I had bought this camera to keep surveillance on a part of the yard both day and night. The picture quality from the kit both day and night is good, but don't expect it to be super sharp for fine details. It does not do well transmitting from outside my home through an exterior brick wall to my bedroom 23ft away from camera to receiver. I had to move the receiver to a distance of ~8.5 Ft. from the camera outside to get a good picture without image degradation. The kit is also susceptible to interference from a wireless router operating in the same frequency band so, note if you do have a wifi router, select a channel on the router and camera as far apart from each other as possible.
