Summary: It does what it is supposed to do.
Comment: I don't have an outside exhaust on the vent above my stove. The old vent had only grease filters while the new GE vent also has room for a charcoal filter. Great idea, but the filter is tough to find. Good thing Amazon has a partner that sells this thing. Also, it is pricey for a simple charcoal filter, but it was expensive everywhere else i looked, so the vendor was not overly high priced.
