So instead of a Click Wheel, you just use your fingers to flick through your music, photos, and video. Two fingers can be used in a pinching or spreading motion as well, which zooms in and out of photos and web pages. That's right, the iPod touch is the first iPod to offer web access. Summary: Why buy this when a new generation it's coming?
Comment: Rumor has it that an improved I touch will come in September. Better wi fi, better battery life, better price-capacity relation and they say it will have GPS and may be a mic or a camera included.but the better part is that, for sure, prices will drop in the average of 100.00 or more. So This is a waste of money. At this price!!

Summary: Great except for Wi-Fi and battery life
Comment: I really like this little device, despite it's drawbacks. I did buy it mainly for music but having all of the other tools is also helpful. The battery life doesn't last nearly as long as it says, I usually have to charge it once a day. Thankfully it doesn't take long to charge.
My big beef is the Wi-Fi. It says it connects to the network but when I try to do anything that requires internet, it "Can't find server." I was able to connect at one location, however at home and work (the two places I'm at the most) it will not work. After researching the Apple support forums it appears to possibly be a problem with my wireless router at home (need to update the firmware) so I'm withholding judgment until I figure out exactly where the problem lies.

Comment: This item is awesome. I have had an ipod for over 2 years. I had the video ipod before this one and I loved it too. But this ipod touch is something much more than I could have imagined. Thanks Apple.
