What A Year 1958 gift book contains over 170 pages of the major 1958 events and items of interest that happened in 1958 - history, trivia, facts, advertisements, movie posters, etc., covering world events, people, new inventions, sports, and more - focused on American culture.
This entertaining 50th wedding anniversary and birthday gift is a hard cover book with pages laid out similar to an American high school year book from the same time period.
Whether you are having a 50th birthday party, anniversary party or celebrating a golden anniversary quietly at home, the commemorative gift book is a fun way to reminisce about all the things that happened during 1958.
You can write your own greeting on the first page. You can even ask family members or party guests to sign a page just like a high school yearbook. Use the facts in the 1958 What a Year It Was book to play a trivia game at your loved ones' party.

Customer Rating: Summary: Very disappointing if you purchase as a gift Comment: I have to put in the caveat that this is a disappointing if you buy it as a gift. As a gift, I can't open it to see the contents. It could be fantastic or it could be mundane to the point that I should have gotten a newspaper from 1958 and come up with similar material.
I bought this for my brother and sister-in-law's 50th wedding anniversary. When it came, it did so without a plastic DVD cover which is implied or maybe just inferred. Instead, it's a DVD shrink wrapped on top of a piece of cardboard. While it may be the thought that counts, the "manufacturer" should have put more thought into a presentation for something as eventful as a 50th anniversary or birthday. Instead, we're having a DVD box made and will use their graphics to make it look better.
Then we'll see what the content is. I certainly hope this isn't like putting lipstick on a pig (although I did buy other gifts as well).
