Summary: Even no glare light
Comment: Nice even cool white colored light for reading. Bought it to replace a halogen desk lamp. Instant on, no flicker, cool and glare free. I thought the full spectrum light was a gimmick. It really is easier on the eyes for reading than the halogen. Lamp does get quite warm, but not as hot as halogen.
Solid construction, instant on, no flicker. Clean lines. Substantially better quality than knock off full spectrums selling between $20-50.00.
Replacement bulbs cost 19.95 from verilux, with no shipping charge. They are supposed to last 10,000 hrs. In my experience some CF bulbs last a long time, others only a few months.. so I guess we'll see about this one.
