Summary: Very roomy
Comment: The inside is very roomy. I like the velcro strips meant to hold a thermos -- I use them to hold the icepack. Inside is a mesh pocket to hold stuff (pocket is tight against the "lid", without any zipper or closure device). As with most lunchboxes for kids, it's just foam as an insulator. A large icepack is needed to keep cold things cold, but I can fit an icepack, drink thermos, food thermos, applesauce, small plastic cup of snack, and a few other small things inside. My daughter picked the pattern, so that was the reason I picked the bag (and for the price). Recommended for basic school lunch needs.
