Summary: Difficult to use-- waste of money
Comment: I have their cheaper version of this cutter ( non-rotary)-- it works great-- except that when I went to the store to find replacement blades they didn't sell any. So I bought this contraption-- you have to push down so hard on the rotary wheel that I now have a severe hand and wrist ache. I'm in my twenties-- it's not like I have arthritis-- cutting paper shouldn't be this hard. I only got through about 3 sheets of paper before giving up because of the wrist pain. The rotary blade is on springs, but the tension is way too high so it is very tough to push the blade far enough so that it does more than score the paper.
Their non-rotary trimmer is much better. Now if only I can find blades...

Summary: A GREAT personal trimmer!
Comment: I've been using the Bidex rotary trimmer for about three years and I absolutely love it! I have no problem with the cutting, in fact, I feel it is very accurate. I do a lot of craft work and it is easy to use, portable and quiet. The cutting mat can be used on 4 different sides before replacing and the blades last a long time, too. I use the straight and scoring blades the most for making invitations/cards. I cut magnet sheets a lot and it is perfect for it. I highly recommend this trimmer. I tried a more expensive, heavy duty one, but I wasn't satisfied and always came back to 'old reliable'!

Summary: Not recommended for scrapbooking
Comment: This may be a good cutter for some things, but I do not recommend it for scrapbooking. I just got this cutter and have ruint 2 specialty papers because it does not cut straight. It is maybe about a millimeter or less off, but in scrapbooking that's a lot.
I was very excited about getting this, but am very disappointed in it now that I have used it.
