At Jack's, we're constantly on the hunt for unique new tools that'll improve our customer's lives; sometimes we discover a 'new' tool where subtle changes have been made to a classic design that dramatically improve it's usefulness. Case-in-point is our angled-handle square-lens magnifying glass. First, the large 3-1/4" square-shape is more practical than traditional round lenses simply because many of the items we want to magnify are similar-shaped: newspapers, magazines books, photographs, documents and maps. Second, the adjustable-angle handle is much more comfortable to hold--especially for anyone with limited wrist-strength, arthritis or repetitive-stress joint pain. Third, the unobtrusively-placed super-bright LED are a 'brilliant' idea since adequate lighting is equally important to magnification when examining fine details. 100,000 hour-life LED have excellent battery-efficiency 2-AA last for hours-and-hours (not included).
