Customer Rating: Summary: Budget Microphones for Karaoke Comment: I also run Karaoke and I read the reviews here before purchasing this set. First of all, they are not Shure beta 58 mics that's true. They also don't cost $600 a peice. They are (for all practical purposes) pretty decent microphones for Karaoke use. I am impressed that they sound as good as they do and I'm not sure how they can produce and sell these mics for that cheap of a price. One feature that I really appreciate is that they do not make any noise when switching them off and on. The microphones don't have the weight of some other higher priced mics so that gives it a bit of a cheaper feel but it's not too bad. They are certainly comfortable to hold and use. The receiver feels pretty fragile and I don't think a drop to the floor would allow it's survival so don't do that. I haven't run into any problems as far as reception goes. The bars I play are relatively small though so they're limits have not been tested. Overall I'm really happy with these microphones and at these prices I can afford to replace them regularly if need be.
Customer Rating: Summary: very bad Comment: Actually if you want to suffer for a while buying these microphones, have a great sound but have the disadvantage that 10 meters and got problems of signal and walls because if there is less distance and it will sound
Customer Rating: Summary: Just okay Comment: I bought these microphones to compliment a Shure wireless microphone that I borrowed from our church for a large anniversary party. These mics weren't even in the same ballpark, but they worked okay. I had to crank the gain all the way up to hear them when trying to mix with music. But, what do you expect for $40!
Customer Rating: Summary: A Great Bargain Comment: At first, I had reservations buying this since the price was cheap. However, put to the test, it survived a youth camp bonfire, church services, and many speaking events including some music jams. The distance is pretty good even at 100 feet. Only kink is once in a blue it can pick up interference if someone has a cell phone call in the room. Here's a cool tip too, since it has an 9V AC/DC adapter, you can make it totally mobile by converting it to operate on a 9V battery. Just go to Radio Shack, find a similar input tip and wire it to a 9V dc battery. It should last you easily 10 hours. Overall, not exactly professional grade but for the price, it's an excellent bargain.
Customer Rating: Summary: karaoke time Comment: i used it in a x-mas party that i D.J., my m.c. loved it that she wants one for herself... i use it now for karaoke at home with friends, the say it makes them feel like pro's... price is amazing for what you get from it...
