Comment: I needed a cheap charger to travel with me from home, work, car, library, etc. This charger was not even worth the low price it costs. It does not always register with the iPod and therefore the iPod is often left uncharged.

Comment: I recently went on a business trip and took the base and adapter for my iPhone to charge it, not realizing that I needed a 3rd piece, the cord. I can't tell you how frustrating it was to not be able to charge my phone, especially since my plane was delayed and diverted and I needed to call home several times as I watched my battery run down. I was afraid to use any of the entertaining portions of the iPhone because I wanted to save it for an emergency. As soon as I got home, I ordered the travel charger. It's only ONE piece of equipment that I need to bring to recharge the phone, and I know it will bring me piece of mind. I tested it at home and it works fine.
