This GumDrop pacifier is for full-term babies. Mango orange color, vanilla scent that calms even the fussiest of babies. The pacifier is curved to fit babys face and is half the weight of other silicone pacifiers. Its single-body construction wont come apart, and the soft silicone covers entire surface, so the pacifier rests comfortably against babys face. Modeled after the most commonly used baby bottle nipple and pacifier shapes and meets Consumer Product Safety Commission standards for pacifiers.

Comment: I ordered these from the manufacturer but the first order was lost and the second took so long to get to me that it was too late for my baby to use them. I ended up getting her on another kind of pacifier that was available in our stores here and she wouldn't take the Gumdrops for even a second once they arrived.
BUT I have good news. She is using them for teething and they are great! She sticks her finger in the nipple and chews on the thick shield happily. She won't use anything else to teethe so these are a blessing! They can even go in the refrigerator for awhile so they are cool on her gums. I also give them to her in her highchair and they don't make a lot of noise when she hurls them to the floor! Overall I like them, I just wish I had them from the get go so she could have used them as a pacifier like they're intended.

Comment: As a pediatric speech-language pathologist specializing in feeding disorders I love the gumdrop. The shape makes it ideal for patients on binasal cannula oxygen and CPAP; other pacifiers must be cut (often leaving sharp edges) to fit around medical apparatus. I have had numerous patients' parents call after discharge requesting more gumdrops as it is the only pacifier their children will take. So glad to see them available on amazon.com.

Comment: I got it from the hospital when the baby was born. He just loves it and prefers this a lot. It is smaller than other newborn pacifier on the market, and perfect for the little one.
