Comment: Who would think that one variety of masking tape would be significantly different from another?

I bought a roll or two in the local store and found that its thickness was so thin I could barely pull it off a length I wanted without it breaking. Too thin.

In contrast, this 3M stuff is the real deal. A bit expensive to order online unless you have free shipping, but worth the extra. Get a few rolls, and they will last you a good while.
