Summary: Waste of money
Comment: I don't usually do reviews, but I just threw this thing in the trash and felt like I had to warn people.
I bought this thinking "Surely a timing contraption like this will be the ultimate answer to keeping a room fresh." It certainly costs enough.
I've had it in my bedroom a week now and I can tell you the thing is pointless. And let's get this straight, my room doesn't smell bad. I just like it when rooms have a nice smell to them. So to be fair, this thing has a nice, fresh smell to it. But it only lasts about 20 seconds a spray! I had mine set on 36 minutes and every time it would spray, my ceiling fan would circulate it for a pleasant blast of freshness, then it would quickly dissipate. No point in setting it down to even 9 minutes when it's going to wimper out like that.
And to top it all off, the thing scares the crap out of me every time it goes off! Don't keep this thing in a quiet room you plan to spend a lot of time in, as when it sprays, it makes this loud "FSSS!" noise that'll make you jump every time. And if you are a light sleeper and sleep with little-to-no sound in your room (fan, aquarium, etc.), this thing will probably wake you up a few times a night.
So in summary: 30 clams for a startling blast of short-live freshness every once in a while. Thumbs down.

Summary: Great Produce But Noise Startles Me!
Comment: I think this product is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!! It has different intervals to set the product to spray and goes as quickly as every 8mins! It's easy to set up with the nozzle facing THROUGH the hole and has a button to press for a burst of freshness! I prefer the 'fresh water' cartridge at the moment as it smells like dryer sheets and brightens up the mood in the house. My only issue with this product, however, is that it makes a little noise when it goes off and the noise startles me as it's loud enough to sound like something stirring around the house but then is gone as quickly as it started -- until the next time! I can't wait for the cartridge to run out so I can try one of the others! Definitely recommended!

Comment: I HAVE USED ALL MAJOR BRAND AIR FRESHENERS AND THIS IS THE BEST BY FAR. THEY LAST FOR 2 MONTHS AND OVER THE LONG TURN THEY ARE THE LEAST EXPENSIVE.
I PURCHASED 3 AIR WICK FRESHMATIC ULTRA 1+3 AND WILL CONTINUE TO BUY REFILLS. ALL THE SCENTS ARE NICE AND NOT OVER POWERING...MY FAMILY IS VERY SENITIVE TO STRONG SCENTS BUT THIS PRODUCT DOES NOT BOTHER US AT ALL.

Summary: Perfect for the bathroom
Comment: This is a perfect automatic freshener for the bathroom. I've tried other kinds of fresheners, and this is the best solution I've found. You can have it set to spray at 9, 18 or 36 minute intervals. I have it set at 36 minutes and it keeps the bathroom smelling clean constantly, even with it being set at the longest interval between sprays.
When you walk into the bathroom, you can notice the "Fresh Waters" smell instantly, but it isn't overpowering at all, just a pleasant freshness. You can also push the button for an extra spray if desired.
I haven't tried it in a larger room, so just one might not be enough, but for a smaller room like the bathroom, one is just perfect.
The batteries are included, and I'm going to try the "Spring Blossoms" scent next. I'm going to buy another one for our extra bathroom, where the kitty litter box is.
I'm really glad I finally found something where you can actually smell the fragrance when you walk in. With the different time settings you can customize it to the amount of freshness that you'd like.
My favorite part though, is that I know that the bathroom will always smell fresh if an unexpected visitor comes by.
