Summary: Save Your Money
Comment: Save your money on this. I paid a premium price for two 500-disc plastic boxes (which doesn't seem to be square) with cheesy locks (no cut tab area like my other boxes have to hook into (cheesy keys as well). Due to delay in receiving this item (took 22 days from order to receipt) I purchased two 800 disc aluminum boxes off an internet auction site that including shipping was $20.99 each less than this and they are a sturdier product for protecting discs (including shipping).
If you don't intend to move it much, it may suffice for your storage needs but not if you must have a secure storage and not if you must move it frequently.
Spent $20.99 more for each of these cases in this review for poorer quality PLUS shipping over the 800 disc storage made by a different company with equal quality to the Atlantic Metal cases you see for sell. Look elsewhere if you want best value for your money.
The plastic sleeves are a tight fit for the discs and the plastic is not the same quality I am accustomed to. Two discs inserted stress the edges on each side which will eventually tear on each one with two discs and the envelope plastic is distorted with two discs in, a further indication they are narrower than they should be by 3 mm in the disc area. The envelopes have the cutouts for inserting the discs, but the cutout pieces have not been removed so you have to remove them on both sides before inserting discs. Minor inconvenience but when you are paying this price for it..... plus if you are transferring 500 discs to this box it will greatly increase the time needed to do so.
