Customer Rating: Summary: Perfection, every time Comment: I've had this panini maker for almost a year and I just love it. It makes perfect paninis, grilled vegetables and even grilled sausages. It comes with a cleaning tool that works well for getting the majority of the food out and a clean soapy cloth does the rest.
I did a lot of research and was told that grills with removable plates don't work as well as they lose the contact with the heat. This grill has no problem with heat!
I highly recommend this panina maker.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works great, but tough to clean Comment: This grill can cook great food. The pressure adjusts just right for sandwiches, hamburgers, and steaks and the temperature controls work fine. Everything I cook on it tastes terrific and is cooked evenly
But I have had it for two years and still can't find an easy way to clean it. Grease gets stuck between the high contoured grill rows and, even when it is warm, is hard to reach. I've tried using the cleaning tool, flushing it with soapy water (kid of messy but works eventually), using a stiff brush and just using paper towels.
I'm changing my Uno Panini for a low-tech Foreman with removeable, washable plates.
