Comment: We use the microwave to heat up left overs often. For years, we used wax paper to keep stuff from splattering over the inside of the microwave. Even though this process worked flawlessly for many years, I always thought a microwavable food cover was a nice idea. I ordered this one and used it twice. It does a very nice job and on that basis I should give it 5 stars. However, I no longer use it because it is just one more thing that we have to clean [the stuff splatters on the inside of the cover]. The used piece of wax paper just gets recycled.

It fits nicely in my tiny microwave and so far it cleans up well. Plus it seems durable- I don't have to worry about dropping it, etc.

Comment: although still useable, after only one use the cover has become deformed...it does not sit right on a dish. worth only $3.99.
