Summary: Escali Digital Bathroom Scale Rocks!
Comment: This digital scale is accurate! You can get on and off several times and receive the same reading. Excellent! Easy to read. Easy to use and so sharp looking. I highly recommend it. I especially like that it measures in tenths...(ie. 115.2) I steadily lose, but usually only 4-5 ounces a week, and I enjoy the positive feedback! It is also accurate for people who are a lot over-weight...My old scales gave my husband a lot of false readings. He is just as happy with this one and loves the program that shows how much he loses each week and how much 'til he reaches his goal.

Comment: Product arrived. Unpacked. Read instructions. Tried it. Didn't work -- nothing on display. So I got out my multimeter to test the batteries, which was when I realized there was a little plastic tab under one of the batteries, presumably to prevent the batteries from discharging while it was on the shelf/in-transit. That's a fine idea, but no mention of it in the instructions. Once I got that straightened out, I again tried to weigh myself. Instructions say to tap the platform to turn it on. Didn't work. Tapping one of the numeric buttons did turn it on. So I got on it, and got a number in kg. The instructions tell you there's a button/switch to change the units, but very uninformative as to where it is and what it looks like. There is a button right above the display, which did nothing. I finally found the switch on the bottom of the scale. Ok, we're in pounds now. Got on it again. Got a weight approximating what I weigh, which then suddenly changed to something I weighed when I was 7, and then it shut off. More weirdness followed, but I'll spare you.
Suffice to say that what I got was a poorly documented product that behaves in bizarre ways when I attempt to use it for something simple -- weigh myself. I'm sending it back and will replace it with an old-fashioned mechanical scale that works.

Summary: Accurate and reliable scale. Love it
Comment: I've been using the Escali Digital scale for a month now, and I'm extremely satisfied with it. It's sensitive but consistent, giving the same exact weight for consecutive weighting. My previous scale would give readings that differed up to 5 pounds (which is why I got rid of it).
It's easy to use (just tap your button, wait a second, and step on), has a nice readable display, and looks good.
I also like that remembers my last weight and gives me the difference, as well as the difference in pounds from the target weight I specified. It's not always pleasant, but it does motivate me to keep an eye on what I eat.
All in all, a great scale and great value.

Summary: Simple, Dependable, and Affordable.
Comment: After reviewing many scales at many prices with (too) many features, the Escali met all of our needs. Basic weight with a dependable REPEATABLE reading. Off and back on, gives the same reading over and over.
The large LCD display makes reading easy without glasses. Who takes their glasses to the shower with them? Just tap it and you can weigh without tracking your progress. Alternately, three user settings keep his and her progress separate with one for the kids to play with. Easy setup and simple functions make this scale very user friendly.
Other scales offering more features were getting poor reviews on their additional functions. This Escali scale is simple to use, attractive in our bathroom, very repeatable and affordable. Definitely 5 stars.

Summary: Great Mid-grade Scale - Accurate
Comment: For a middle grade scale, I am very pleased. Accuracy is right on. I didnt think I would use the tracking or multi-user feature, but my husband and I use it daily - great feature! I have not been disappointed with Escali products - this is my second purchase of an Escali scale (have a digital kitchen scale also).
Decoratively speaking, it fits nicely into any decor. I highly recommend.
