With Panasonic Inverter Microwave Ovens, you'll have well-tempered power to cook with ease, speed, and quality. Inverter technology takes advantage of multiple power levels, and maintains the best colour, shape, texture, and flavors of your food. Thanks to evenly distributed levels of microwave energy, foods will no longer undercook in the center and have hard, overcooked edges. Panasonic has perfected their Inverter Turbo Defrost process, which allows you to defrost foods even faster. Inverter Turbo Defrost technology is an advanced microwave process using the Inverter low-power delivery feature. It distributes microwave energy with the most appropriate combination of regularity and irregularity. Panasonic One Year Warranty

Customer Rating: Summary: Nice microwave but light doesn't come on when door opens Comment: Nice microwave but light doesn't come on when door opens. It does come on when it is heating. The viewing angle on the LCD is very narrow. If you are tall and microwave sitting below you on a counter, LCD is hard to read. Otherwise, it works well. My wife said that it heats food faster than our previous brand.
Customer Rating: Summary: The Knob is a Hassle Comment: I thought I would like setting cook time with a knob, but it's not as quick or easy as punching it in with a keypad. This microwave has no numeric keypad.
Setting cook time is the main event. Why must Panasonic invent a way that triples the time and effort involved?
It won't bother most people, but after 9 months I still find it a little annoying. You need to turn the knob a little, then a little more, then oops, back a little, almost there...OK good.
This microwave looks great and works great, but the knob idea was a mistake.
Customer Rating: Summary: received crushed on the left side Comment: I purchased this microwave from Amazon and I received it crushed on the left side. I was very upset because one of the reasons I purchased it was the appearance.
Customer Rating: Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE! unless you'd like some radiation... Comment: this microwave was just over one month old when it DIED. but not just died, it tried to kill us in the process. all of a sudden the code "H98" started showing up and it would not work. you'd unplug and replug and it would appear to start up. but then you'd smell the fumes, awful awful fumes. and if it didnt quit on its own, once you cancelled it you would almost pass out by the fumes when you opened to find your food ice cold. even if its been going for minutes on high. an ice brick still. in all honesty, this microwave started making people sick and panasonic did not care one bit when informed. we want it out ASAP.
Customer Rating: Summary: Panasonic NN-SD667S Microwave Comment: I purchased this microwave because the inexpensive Panasonic I had owned for 7 years finally conked out. [This is not a slight of that microwave, as I'm known to show people the candle-in-the-microwave-plasma demonstration and to fry backup data CDs to render them unreadable (4 seconds, max).] I purchased this specific model because I had used a similar Panasonic at someone's house and liked the aesthetics and ergonomics of it. Upon purchasing this microwave, I was pleased with the aesthetics, although true stainless rather than the sprayed silver for the top/side sleeve would be nice. The dial is sweet and I don't care about not being able to dial in 2:47 vs. 2:45 -- I'm not a precise cook. I don't have an exact calibration, as tap water temperatures may have differed and my view of boiling is not accurate, but this microwave (1300 watt) just barely heats food faster than the old one (1000 watt). As in about 10 seconds faster for a mug of water for tea. I'm not sure if heating time is supposed to have any linear relationship with the rated power, but in my case it appears not to. I've used this microwave for a few months and am happy with it. I'm 6'1" and don't have the problems reading the display as others have stated, so that's not a downside for me. Also, the only controls I use are Power Level (just for defrosting) and the time knob, so I would know nothing about the myriad other controls. I'm simple people, so all that stuff is outside my needs.
