Summary: This is not effective at deterring rodents.
Comment: I actually purchased this item as a way to deter my pet rats from entering my room mate's room. I was under the assumption that the sound would irritate the rats and make them less inclined to enter his room.
Instead, the rats will actually rise up and sniff it out of curiousity rather than avoid it.
I do not recommend this product.
