Dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) is a chemical compound which is a by-product of wood processing. It hasa bit oily liquid that looks similar to mineral oil and has a slightly garlicky odor. In the late 1960s, it became popular a typical pain relief medication for pulled, strained, and sprained muscles and joints. In addition, DMSO has long been used as a chemical solvent. Not only is DMSO used as pain relief, it is also effective in treating acne, skin ulcers, herpes, and cataracts. DMSO has anti-inflammatory properties when applied to skin. It helps release pain from muscle injuries from sports or fitness activities. It can also ease arthritis pain.

Summary: I love it.
Comment: Before i say anything about this product. I am NOT a doctor and i DONT perscribe any type of medication what so ever. I can only relate to you what i had experienced while using this product. (you have to be sure you get a pure form and not an industrial grade for purity).
I had an asma attack that sent me into the hospital 3 times in a 5 day period. The asma medication reduced the degrees of the attack but not eliminating it. (i later found that i was alergic to the delivery system in the medication itself). My lungs were trying to adjust. I was off of work for 3 weeks and needed to find something to get me back to work.
I friend of a friend (thats correct) told me about a remedy they used with race horses and it was an antiflamitory drug. Feeling i had nothing to lose i tried it. using it 3 times a day and spreeding it on my lung area in a 2 1/2 inch square. rotating area each time.
Im not recomending this use this any part of your body. im just relaying what i had experienced.
pros:
1: the antiflamitory in the dsmo allowed me to breath easier.
2: after about an 1 to 1-1/2 hours later i noticed a general pickup of my well being. i felt like i wanted to do something. this repeats every time i used the product.
3: the pain in my back and knees reduced its comfort about 90 percent.
cons:
1: gives you a weird garlic and other taste in your mouth.
2: dont know what the long term effects are.
3: dont use it to late. i was getting intense dreams with it.
4: depending on the area of aplication. i ether felt nothing, felt slight iching, or slight burning. after trial and error i found the areas that i can apply this solution with little or no effect.
over all i plan on keep using it for a while and see if it fully eliminates my asma attacks. i still use the perscribe asma medication and dont plan on quiting them.
