Summary: Nice Features but Falls Apart
Comment: This mouse feels good in the hand and has some nice features. However, after only a few months use, the film that covers the grip on the right hand side of the mouse is peeling up in places where the fingers and palm make contact. It feels funky and looks awful.

Comment: This mouse is fantastic. No problems. Great feel and tracking. Contrary to other reviews, I've had no difficulty with the side-to-side action getting in the way of the wheel action. It's just superb, and I'm pretty picky.

Summary: MX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse
Comment: Great mouse. I had to make a call to the Logitech help desk to get the software installed without error, but now it is working the way it is supposed to. Most highly featured and advanced mouse I have ever seen or used and very glad I bought it. I haven't had any battery problems as some report, but I charge it every 4 or 5 days. I expecially like the scroll wheel function of being changable between click mode and free spinning mode. Highly recommended!

Comment: This mouse rules. Couple it with a large mouse pad and you've got a winner. You don't realize how aggravating using a regular mouse with a small pad is until you get something like this. Preset buttons are great and the scroll wheel is the best part of the mouse.

Comment: I've been swearing-by Logitech for a LONG time -
The MX-Revolution hardware and software is junk.
With my machine on the floor beside my desk, and receiver plugged into the back of the PC, the RF won't communicate _all the way_ up to my desktop. I have to put the receiver on a USB extension cord.
I never figured-out how to hack Microsoft mice for the functions I needed on mouse buttons (escape), so I was looking-forward to programming the MX-R buttons for AutoCAD (which was easy, but created a huge per-application configuration MESS in their UI).
The Logitech software creates response lags for the interrupts -- time-slicing. This is IMPOSSIBLE to deal with - if you've Ever played games or drawn CAD you know what I mean. So when I do use it, I don't load the Logitech software handlers, which is a Large part of the functionality of the product.
I'm using my default Dell wired optical mouse and the MX-R is in it's stand on the credenza behind me, and has been for days.
I'm going to try another Logitech mouse, but just one more.
I could NOT be more disappointed.
