Comment: Our daughter (8 months old) has been resistant to "regular" baby foods, but she has been enjoying "feeding" herself with our new munchkin feeders. She seems to really like the independence & being able to "mash" the food with her teeth & gums. She particularly likes fruits, especially grapes. These have brought some nice variation and new flavors to mealtime for her.

Comment: My daughter really liked to use this product. She sucked the fruit right out and screamed for more. I wasn't something we needed to use for too long but for the time we did she really enjoyed it.

Comment: We thought it was gross to use as a food feeder, but kept it in the cupboard anyway. When our son started teething, it took us a few months to figure out that he wanted to crunch on ice. Voila! This was the perfect thing to let him crunch ice to help those gums. Then he recently fell and busted his lip and it was the only way I could keep the swelling down. It washes well in the dishwasher and we have not replaced a bag after ~3 months of use, although we only use it for ice, not food.

Comment: Have you ever want to give your child new food but you are scared that they might choke? Or has your child ever been teething so bad that they're in so much pain and Baby Orajel doesn't help the pain? Well, the Fresh Food Feeder by Munchkin will solve your problem. You can give your fresh frozen fruit or vegetable to try or place ice in it to use for teething. The mesh bag will prevent your baby from taking pieces of food too large where they can choke. You don't have to worry about your child taking the feeder apart too as it's pretty sturdy once you lock the ring to the mesh bag. Why use Baby Orajel when you can use something more healthier or fresher.
The only downside to this product is the cleaning. While it's great for feeding your child, food can get stuck in the mesh holes. It can get a little tricky to clean it out.

Summary: Good, But Hard to Open
Comment: I like the idea of this feeder and the product works fine, but I find it very hard to open. I suppose this is a good thing because that way my little one can't open it, but it's difficult to use the clips with one hand. I love that all of the parts are dishwasher safe.
