Comment: with this nice little tool you can open your old nes/s-nes/n64/gameboy/gameboycolor game cartridges with eaze.
why open your game cartridges you ask??. to clean em of course. most game consoles from the good old videogamming days had major issues from games not working due to the rental stores. when pepole use to rent games not only was thay renting the games but the dirt from thos games as well was just getting all over the pins inside your gamming console.
ppl made up tricks like blowing in the game cartridges & using console cleanning kits witch did work for some at the time but just really do the trick. with this tool you can open thos old game cartridges & clean up all that electronic dirt & dust off the pin connectors that was causing the problems in the begin with. with some penciel eraser's alcohol and some q tips youll be good to go.
now some ppl might say oh i cant use alcohol cus the lable on the back said not too.. pffft that was just the game company's way of getting you to buy a new game or to use there cleanning bs so that thay can make more money off you at the time.. this little tool did the trick. the only down side is that you have to be carfull on using it because it can get striped very easy. just in case like what i did i bought 2 of these in fearing that it would strip. one is kinda striped but still usable.
all that being said its well worth having this tool if your a game collector. just take your time when openning the cartridge's.. gets ta scrubin!! lol

Comment: This is the one you need for the NES and SNES cartridges. I bought this and it works great. Now I have many carts that had dead batteries that work and save once again, all thanks to some electrical tape and CR2032 batteries!

Comment: This tool works great on all my old NES games. I had purchased a similar bit from another online retailer, and the bit turned out to be junk. It stripped out with practically no effort, making it nearly impossible to remove the security screws from NES cartridges.
I wish I had found this deal on Amazon.com sooner--this one works perfectly every time!
