Make traditional Danish filled pancakes with this sturdy cast pan from Norpro. Measuring 6-1/2 inches in diameter, the pan will fit on one burner and makes up to 7 pancakes at once. The cast iron pan will need to be seasoned before use, but once the pan is properly prepared, it develops a virtually stick-free surface. Instructions for seasoning and usage are included, along with a traditional Aebleskiver recipe.

Customer Rating: Summary: goood Comment: Overall the product is good. It takes a little time to get used to the pan, and I was a little disappointed at the diameter of the individual cups. Each cup is ~2inches in diameter. Some similar pans have cups of ~3inches. It still works well, but it was a surprise and it affects cooking.
Customer Rating: Summary: Norpro Danish Aebleskiver Pan Comment: Norpro Danish Aebleskiver Pan is perfect for my family. I don't have any problems with it. Everything I make with it, my family appreciates it very much. I recommand this pan, the price is fair, and the shipping is quick.
Thanks for the pan.I enjoy it!
Customer Rating: Summary: Stuffed Pancakes Comment: Just a reminder that you need to "Season" the pan and not run it through the dishwasher because it is cast iron.
Customer Rating: Summary: Works great - but some prep before using is required. Comment: I bought this as an alternative to the "Pancake" version that is selling on infomercials. The price on Amazon was way less than what was offered on TV so I pulled the trigger.
The pan arrived at my house and as much as my kids wanted to fire it up right away, my Grandma always taught me that you must season a new cast iron pan first before using. There are about 1000 different methods out on the web to seasoning your pan. I chose to season my pan in Crisco and instead of using the oven on cleaning mode and putting up with the smoke in the house, I took it outside and put it on my charcoal grill where I had a nice HOT fire waiting for it and a piece of aluminum foil underneath the pan to catch the excess. I left it overnight and took it out the next day and saw that it was a very dark Carmel color - and now ready to its first use.
There is a bit of a learning curve to getting the temp right for the pan and also flipping over the pancakes, muffins, eggs, etc. Also, be sure to use a non-stick cooking spray before using the pan and after each pan of whatever you are cooking. You will also definitely need a couple of utensils to flip over each item in the cooking well - it's not as easy as they make it look on TV with using a single bamboo skewer, but with some practice it's not difficult at all.
We cooked several pans of pancakes and then my wife used it for eggs. Use the smaller eggs since the cooking wells are not very large - the small eggs are just the perfect size for it. We have also used it for blueberry muffins and the desert recipe that came with the pan. It does take a bit longer to cook the same amount of pancakes but the kids love it and who am I kidding, so do I. Highly Recommend.
Customer Rating: Summary: Great alternative to As Seen on TV Pancake Puff Pan! Comment: My 3 year old son convinced me to get this product after seeing the Pancake Puff add on TV. I wasn't ready to shell out 19.95 plus shipping for an experiment... so I searched around for an alternative. I bought this pan and have to say I was pretty impressed. Used regular pancake batter from a box and cooked them low and was PATIENT. I buttered the pan generously each time (actually used "smart balance spread") and they did not stick at all. Don't be fooled by poor reviews...this does give great results. The more batches I made the quicker they cooked and easier it became to flip.
