Summary: okay but a little less than expected
Comment: Did not come with serial # for product registration/warranty. When I contacted manufacturer, they suggested I return it and purchase directly through them (Tourmaline). While iron gets very hot (410 degrees - I have coarse/kinky hair), does not seem to flatten/straighten hair with silkeness/shine that other ionic irons that I have used in the past do. Also generates a rather unpleasant odor.

Summary: The best straightener I have ever used.
Comment: I have long curly/wavy hair, I own the T3 1" Dry Hair Tourmaline straightener as well as the T3 Featherweight Hair Dryer and I love them BOTH! When a coupe of hair dressers (yes, plural, I have had 3 different hair dressers recommend the T3 products)recommended these products I hesitated, after all they are NOT cheap, but I have owned them both for almost 2 years now and I have never been anything other than completely impressed. The iron heats in seconds every time I use it, which is almost everyday. I don't "abuse" my hair tools, but I definitely use them a lot and my T3 iron has never let me down. But I guess the best part is that I know that as long as I have that warranty (4 YEARS!!!) that I can get my T3 repaired or replaced should anything happen in the next 2 years, and I have never heard of that from a hair product ever. I can not recommend this product enough!!!

Comment: Works well, but I expected something more extraodinary, a sleeker silkier hair.. coz my hair is not coarse, its just wavy and a little frizzy.. maybe I set my expectations too high..

Summary: T3 Tourmaline Styling Iron
Comment: I purchased the T3 Tourmaline 83415 Narrow Duality Professional Ionic 1 Inch Ceramic Styling Iron. Within 30 days the Styling Iron quit working. It would just shut off. I thought at first it was an electrical problem with my outlet. But it kept doing it, everytime I used it. It would work for 5 minutes and then shut off. So I called Amazon and let them know. I recieved a different one. I am not sure if it will continue to work or will have the same problem. Amazon took a long time for them to send a postage paid sticker so I could send the old one back. I had to call Amazon several times. When you buy this product from Amazon it says it is brand new. But they have cut off the serial number off this product and the warrenty with the company is no good. If your product quits working, you are screwed. I emailed T3 and they said sometimes companys like this are actually referbished products. Products that stoped working and a person fixes them. It is a better idea to just spend the extra money and buy from a authorized dealer.
