Summary: Fashion Designer Need apply
Comment: This is a fun toy. The princesses talking get to be annoying but you can turn them off. This is vey much like Fashion Plates of the 70's. I wish they made some like these for boys like they did with the HotWheels cars. You can change the dresses to any princess. All you need is regular size papaer as well and cut it in half to make more princesses to color.

Comment: Once again, another Disney toy fails to live up to what it's offering. We had to rig this thing time and time again to get either the princesses to talk like they are supposed to, or just to get the flap to stay shut so my daughter could do the rubbing. VERY POOR QUALITY TOY!!!! Even the crayons don't write as well as a crayola.

Summary: Lots of fun, and it folds into a travel case!
Comment: A wonderful toy to take along with your little one since it packs itself into a suitcase by simply folding it up. The only flaw is that there is no slots to keep the crayons in, so they fall out. I am a child of the 70s and enjoyed Fashion Plates, so I was excited to see Disney put a Princess version out. I still have my original Fashion Plates, and will have to dig them out soon because I know my daughter will really enjoy them. This set features the Princess gang and you can change their outfits and color them in. The original Fashion Plates gave you the option to rub patterns into the dresses, and unfortunately this set does not have that option. We plan on using the pattern plates from the original set to decorate the Disney Princess ones. All in all, great fun, and would make a nice gift for any Disney Princess fan.
