ConnectPort Display is the first family of zero-client solutions to utilize Display Over IP technology, making it easy to connect video displays anywhere on a wired or wireless LAN, while eliminating the need for locally attached host PCs or thin clients. This Ethernet-attached solution provides a single VGA or SVGA video port and additional serial and USB ports for human interface devices such as a keyboard, mouse or touch panel. The ConnectPort Display software enables remote displays to communicate with the host, without changing existing application software. Remote displays can be centrally managed and monitored from a remote server or PC via an IP address.For a variety of display applications, relocating the host PC to a back office or other remote location translates to smaller deployment stations, centralized management and reduced IT support.
