Summary: Easy fix.
Comment: I bought this as a replacement due to constant clicking coming from the assembly. Although there are methods to fix your current one, I plan on keeping my Alero for a while so I felt the price was right for a reliable replacement. The hardest part of the install was separating the plastic cowl around the column. Once it was off, switching the units took two minutes. So far it works just like new and I have no complaints. No more clicking to drive me insane!!!
