Customer Rating: Summary: Customer Service & Main Reason Comment: I have read that several people had problems dealing with this company's customer service, but my experience was great. They were very helpful, friendly, and expediant.
The greatest thing about this product is that, unlike the toilet, I don't have to scrub around it every time my son uses it. There is no splashing, forgetting to put up the seat (or lid), or falling in it. You still have to keep it clean, but it saves parents a lot of time and energy.
Totally worked for my son...and it has only been 3 weeks!
Customer Rating: Summary: Finally, a potty he's interested in using Comment: My 33 month old son has shown no interest in using any type of potty until I purchased this product. Although he's not using it regularly, yet, he talks about going potty like Daddy and has used it on several occassions. The drawback - he likes to play with the flushing mechanism to the point that I can only fill it with a small amount of water at a time. This, however, is a very small trade-off for the interest he has shown so far!
Customer Rating: Summary: The end of Show and Tell! Comment: This is a wonderful item- I wish I had bought it much earlier! My twins will be 3 in November and are mostly dry all day at the daycare lady's house, they even sometimes wake up dry here- this tells me they are READY!
When they get home, they are not much interested in the potty- until we bought this urinal. Just out of the box and once we told them it was a potty, they were fighting to use it FIRST-- still have to tell them it is not for solids though LOL. We have even had them want to use it when we are getting ready in the morning at 5...
We still have some problems with follow through but have seen a dramatic improvement at home with compliance since we purchased this- even to the point of one of my guys saying he needed to go in from playing to use the potty! (had already gone- but it's the progress that counts )
I read the other reviews and my husband and I agree that this urinal is too unstable to use freestanding above the lowest setting- but since this is still useable and most children this age are short, it is working out very well for us. My husband was putting this together and noticed the urinal rapidly slipped down when a small amount of pressure was applied putting the water tank on and would have scared the boys and possibly caused them to not want to use this, it also was a bigger tipping hazard when it was extended. When they get taller we plan to wall mount this and continue using it as long as it is feasable.
Also- another mom said she put cleaner in the tank and base-- this is HIGHLY recommended! Yes, you clean and empty it often- but it is a toilet and unless you sterilize it continually and run it through the dishwasher or something, it will get odors... save yourself some grief and put a little in the bottom and in the water tank.
Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE IT!!!! Comment: I cannot express how much we LOVE this potty. We were able to potty train our son in ONE DAY with this potty. He was 2 1/2 and we had tried once before to train him on a traditional sit down child's potty and he hated it. He said it made his penis hurt to push it down so we stopped. I went online, found this potty and the day after we got it in the mail he was trained. He LOVES it and we're even taking it on vacation with us. He can go in a grown up potty, but prefers his potty. He has had 2 accidents in the past 2 weeks since training and those were only because he couldn't get to the potty quick enough. This potty is worth it's weight in GOLD.
Customer Rating: Summary: LOVE IT Comment: My son used it as soon as I put it together (in the dining room)!!!!!
He is not completely potty trained yet, but we are well on the way! He LOVES it! I have told all my friends and family about it!
