Step out of your living room and into the mystery. Scotland Yard needs your help to crack 12 challenging interactive crimes, such as "The Monte Carlo Affair." Find out who, what, where and when the crimes took place. Investigate all your favorite suspects, plus four others, and more crime scenes. Collect "virtual evidence" as you go, and use the DVD to make secret accusations. Game includes game board, tons of game pieces including character figures, and one DVD. There's even a bonus game for more mystery-solving excitement. For 2 to 8 players.

Customer Rating: Summary: Disappointed Comment: My father had trouble finding the traditional Clue version for my daughter so he bought this one. Unfortunately, we will need to get rid of this one, as the documentation is so poor that we ended up showing each other our cards just to get the solution after many attempts to make this game work for us. Such a bummer, but I could never recommend this version, even though the DVD itself is well done, because the documentation was poor and seems aimless. Maybe if you throw away the board and really work at making the DVD make sense with the cards, you might get some play time out of it, but I'll leave that for someone at the thrift store to figure out.
Customer Rating: Summary: CLUE, te best family game ever! Comment: fun, smart, and great for the hole family... i love clue since i can remember and im sure you'll love it!
Customer Rating: Summary: It's Clue meets Scene It. Comment: I enjoy this game very much. I needed to play the game a few times before I really got used to it since it differs from the classic Clue in many ways. The added elements were a nice change to the classic Clue in my opinion. I love the way they use the red magnifying glass to reveal codes and how you use the DVD to make your accusation. It was also interesting to now have to figure out time of day in addition to the who, what and where. Oh and it was a theft and not a murder this time around.
I wouldn't suggest this game for anyone under the suggested minimum age of 10. It will probably prove to be too complicated for younger kids. If you are thinking of buying this for someone under 10 I would suggest Hasbro Games Clue Jr. instead.
If you're a fan of Clue and board games in general you really can't go wrong with this game. Buy it today though as it isn't uncommon for these variations of Clue to not hang around forever.
Customer Rating: Summary: Fun, but not enough games Comment: Clue DVD Game
I am ten years old and I love this game! It is a lot of fun to play as a family, and you never know what to expect next. The senerios are new and exciting, and I like the fact that none of them are murder mysteries--only thefts are commited.
There are only two things which I do not like as much: When one player solves the case the others cannot keep playing because the game ends then, and there are only ten games to play. I wish they had put like fifteen or twenty games. Also, if the game is taking a while to finish, everone is made to put a card into the center to speed things up.
Otherwise, I think this game is a great investment to make.
Customer Rating: Summary: such fun! Comment: This game is fabulously fun. Much more fun than the original board game. There's a lot more going on with this game than with the original, but it really isn't difficult to learn how to play. We quickly read through the instructions and then let the DVD guide us (as the instructions suggest) through our first game. We loved it. It's great for practicing your deductive reasoning skills!
It *IS* possible to play with just two people. The DVD requires that you input a minimum of 3 players, so do that, but then continue play with just 2 players. We placed 6 cards immediately in the Evidence room as "common evidence" and distributed the remaining extra cards evenly between the 2 of us. With the old board game version, the game is too easy with just two players--but because there are so many new ways to get clues with the DVD version, the game is still challenging and fun with just 2. Our first game took about 1.5 hours, and every minute of it was amusing.
