Comment: I purchased two of these Wolo air horn sets a couple years ago, one for my car and the other for a boat. Though I don't use the horns often, the few occasions I have, they worked great. These horns are attention getters and are sure to make a statement when used.

Comment: It came very quickly from the seller. Well packaged. I installed it per instructions on my 2006 Ford Ranger 4x4 exactly in same place as the old one. because I have a two wire system, the horn adapter was not used. The small trumpet works, the large one doesn't. It also blew a 15 AMP fuse upon just pressing the horn button. It definately has some issues. Wolo may be a top maker for this line, but the product seems to be made poorly or at the very least, prone to problems. Would I buy another one from this company.?? No, I would not. Your best bet is to go to a junkyard and purchase one, you would probably have better luck.

I had it installed and working in a few short minutes, if your looking for a new hoen to replace those little mortercycle type horns they put in cars these days than this is the one you want. Mind you this is not the real loud awsome toned air horns you find on big trucks but it is good enouph to scare the heck out of a moron that cuts you off :-)

Comment: This horn set is a good deal at the Amazon price, and with no sales tax and free shipping, it is about $8 cheaper than the local auto store. I purchased this as the second replacement for a Toyota 4Runner. The compressors tend to rust since they are exposed to water kicked up from roads. This compressor looks better sealed, so that might make it last longer. Most Japanese cars come with weak horns, and this set makes up for them. They tend to scare the unwary (a good thing). The installation is straight-forward, but does require connecting electrical wires and mounting the relay, compressor and horns. To keep it simple, I tapped off the existing horn wire, ran a ground wire to an existing screw and used existing holes in the body panels.
