Comment: This is the only software I have ever seen in person or used. Overall I like it much better than traditional scrapbooking, which was getting way too messy, and my kids were always getting into it. This software is easy to use after playing around with it. Also, it allows you to import free or low-cost digital scrapbooking supplies from the internet. Most of the designs are CUTE, not pretty or beautiful, and many are downright cheesy. I found it very easy, CHEAP, and quick to print pages online at ScrapbooksToShare.com. Overall this is much easier and cheaper than traditional scrapping.

Summary: READ THIS BEFORE WASTING YOUR TIME ON NOVA's WEBSITE . . .
Comment: 1. You can't use the newer version of this software (version 4) if you're on Windows 2000 -or- older.
2. You will experience endless grief if you hope to consolidate the four CD's into one manageable DVD. The program is too inept to allow you to search for the next install file; but it's worse: You can't even use more than ONE ATAPI (CD or DVD) DRIVE or I can guarantee you it won't install completely. You're installing ONE CD AT A TIME, from exactly ONE (the same) ATAPI DRIVE.

But here's where the fun really begins:
3. Try performing the INSERT \ GRAPHIC feature. If it doesn't work, you'll never believe why. Ready class? It's because you chose to not show your "My Documents" folder on your desktop. Tsk tsk. How dare you customize your desktop by removing an all but useless Microsoft-generated folder (for the clueless who haven't quite figured out that they can create their own folders . . . on their OWN DRIVE duh).

Yes friends, that is your crime: You can't access the graphics without having this folder show on your desktop.

I think this rates in the annals of poorly-executed programming as a champion example of stupidity. You can read the comments of others pointing out the many other fun-filled experiments in grief that await you with Nova's Scrapbook Factory Deluxe version 3; I'm just posting this so it sits (for awhile) on top of the other reviews, and as a public service so that you don't think you're losing your mind.

Because NOWHERE on Nova's website will you see this issue addressed.

Comment: This is a great scrapbooking program. Easy to use and makes scrapbooking simple, but still allows you enought creativity to have fun doing it. Templates can be easily changed to suit your needs and there are hundreds of designs to choose from.

Comment: I was so disappointed as to how the program works, (maybe partly because i have been using photoshop for editing pictures and scrapping). Their templates are "ok" though some really look cheap. I bought the product hoping to be able to import my project back and forth with photoshop so i can do more but they made it so complicated that i think it is not worth doing anymore. I must say that for quick cards and scrapping this is the product to use but if you are looking for some professional scrapping software id still recommend using Photoshop. [I even sometimes think that their picture on the package was done with Photoshop too. ;)]
