Comment: Clark Kent...they may not be the most ascetically pleasing speaker stand in the world, but they will do the job and then some. And I do mean "and then some". I currently have a 7.1 surround setup in my living room and the surround/back speakers are Sony floor standing full band 3 way speakers. These hold the speakers very well. Since the stands have no way to secure the speakers I used some sort of velcro like super product and it holds extremely well. I have bumped the speakers, accidentally of course, only a few times I'll admit, but they didn't fall over...even considering the speakers I am using the stands for are way over the recommended height limit.

Comment: Very good product, but they are wasting money by including so many extra parts and wasting my time with no instructions and nothing telling you what is in the box.
