Customer Rating: Summary: Meh. Comment: It's perhaps more comfortable than propping a bunch of pillows, but I think it's still not as comfortable as it should be, and it's way overpriced for what you get. I'm tall for a woman (5'10") and got the regular sized lounger. First of all, it's not really very lounge-y. It doesn't "recline" - you just have to scoot forward and lean the whole apparatus back. In that sense of recline - everything reclines, if you make it lean backwards! It works best if you truly want to sit up straight - which wasn't really my goal, since I had just come home from abdominal surgery and wanted to be semi-reclined in bed. The downward pressure if I sat straight up was quite uncomfortable. I couldn't get the "lumbar pillow" to be comfortable anywhere I put it, so I finally took it out. The head pillow is weird... too stuffed, puts pressure against the head to push it forward, not comfortable at all, I resorted to putting it in backwards so it would at least be out of my way. Then I used my own neck pillow to make it bearable. The arms are good if you sit up straight, but not if you "recline" - then they're just kind of short, and stick up (again, because it doesn't really "recline") and are in the way. On the plus side - the fabric is nice (I got the cream fleece fabric). Summary - I'm doing okay with it, but only with three extra pillows and a lot of forgiveness. Not what I expected, I think the company could do a lot better. Thought about returning it, but I don't want to deal with the return shipping.
Customer Rating: Summary: Love it Comment: I bought this pillow recliner as I couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep due to being 8 months pregnant. It has made my nights enjoyable.
Customer Rating: Summary: Ridiculously overpriced, not comfortable... Comment: I bought one of these for my mom, who has problems with reflux when she sleeps flat and slides off her pillows when she tries to prop herself up. I'd read the ads for this bedlounge and like an idiot, figured high price must mean high quality. Yeah, right.
My mom tried it for two nights, hated it. My brother, who also suffers from reflux, tried it with the same conclusion. I figured they just weren't giving it a proper chance, but then I tried it for a night...and ended up throwing it across the room. Those cheap lounging pillows at K-Mart are more comfortable than this thing; there's no real "reclining" like they say in the ads, and the little lumbar pillow is just sad. And don't get me started on that headrest, it's pretty worthless. To think I spent over a hundred bucks on this thing and will end up taking it to the Goodwill. Boy, do I feel like a sucker...
Customer Rating: Summary: Not owrth the money Comment: My aunt just turned 82 and ask for one of these for her birthday. She likes to retire about an hour before she falls asleep to relax and watch the news. She had a terrible time getting into position to sit in the bedrest, due to her age and a bad knee she was unable to be on her knees to crawl into position and then turn around. She tried several times and said that she was going to ship it to me because it did not work for her. I paid to have it shipped to me in Florida. It is well made with nice material but not as comfortable as I thought it would be, and definetly not worth the price. After having it shipped to me by a relative and then pay restocking and more shipping I would have a small fortune in an over priced bed rest. Would not reccommend

Customer Rating: Summary: best bed rest I've seen Comment: I've owned several pillows of this type over the years for reading in bed or sleeping while sitting up, and this is by far the best. It's sturdy enough to provide good support and keep its shape, yet it's soft enough to be comfortable and light enough to be easily lifted even by someone (like me) who has recently had neck surgery. I wish I'd found it years ago. I especially like the comfortable arm rests, which some models lack and others ruin with unnecessary cup holders. Although I haven't tried to (and probably wouldn't want to) use it on the floor like a piece of furniture, as some of the photos suggest, I think in order for that to work it would need to be placed against a wall to keep from tipping backward.
