Summary: Awesome Results - Poor Presentation
Comment: My Mom had this on VHS and I have since bought my own copy. THe workout itself is AMAZING! I can see a physical difference after doing it twice! Because it is so effective I am giving it an overall 4 STARS, even though the presentation alone I would give 2 stars.
The video is old & I don't enjoy looking at the same faces in the same old-fashioned workout gear. That and the lack of "chapters" within the DVD kinda sucks. I don't mind so much within the workout istelf, but I hate having to sit through the intro at the start. When I'm ready to workout I just want to get started! (But I notice ALL workout videos seem to make you sit through their stupid intro - DO they have any idea how boring that is to watch every day!?)
I would do the exercises without the video, but I find I don't push myself if I don't see the counter on the screen...

Summary: Super Callanetics are super!
Comment: I love these exercises. Although the original video is old, the exercises are still valid. I have really seen a change in my arms (triceps) and legs (outer thigh, inner thigh). Plus many of the exercises are easy to remember and do without even watching the video. Now, these exercises are not for the faint of heart -- you will feel it the next day!! But go for it if you are looking to put some wonderful definition and shape to your body!

Summary: Callanetics is a great form of exercise
Comment: I bought this DVD because I already do callanetics with an instructor, but will stop in the future due to a job transfer. So, I wanted to make sure that I will keep doing callanetics at home. It's true that the DVD is not chaptered, so you have to pause it if you can't keep up with the ladies who do the exercises. However, the BIG advantages of callanetics (slimming, toning, general well-being) can't be outweighed by this single drawback.

Summary: A Classic, Never Improved Upon
Comment: Years ago, I had the VHS version of Super Callanetics, and lost it in subsequent moves...and had thought about it frequently since then. When I saw Amazon had it in DVD version, I jumped on it. I gave my copy to a friend, and I am now ordering another for myself. As always, Amazon provides speedy service, reliable quality, excellent customer service. A customer for life.

Summary: Old friend delivers exceptional results
Comment: I used to do the Callanetics and Super Callanetics VHS workouts about 15 years ago. Over time I stopped doing them and moved on to others like The Firm. Over the past year I began doing the Fluidity workout and Squeeze by Tracy Effinger. I saw that amazon was selling Super Callanetics and remembered what a tough, results-oriented workout it was. I bought it and wasn't disappointed. I'm an advanced exerciser who's been working out 5 days weekly for over 20 years. This workout is difficult but effective. My muscles were ready for Super C, I think, because I've done the Fluidity and Sqeeze workouts. They are similar but not quite as challenging. The stomach and rear workouts will sculpt your body. If you're new to Callanetics, I'd recommend trying Callanetics first. Move on to Super C. after you've mastered the other.
You will be amazed at how Super C. changes your body quickly.
My only regret is that the CD doesn't have chapters.
