Summary: Kid Pix not compatible with Windows XP
Comment: I was also unable to get Kid Pix 3 to work on XP. After searching the internet, we found a way that was supposed to make it compatible. We followed every direction to make this thing work. It did end up finally loading, but then it would crash. Finally we found a tech support number. First we were told that there was only support on the web for KP3, but the website directs us back to call for support. We were bounced us back and forth and back and forth to different departments. NO ONE wanted to take responsibility to help us (Broderbund is notorious for this). They only gave tech support if we had Kid Pix 4! What a runaround!!!
FINALLY we talked to someone who found information in their system that said that KP3 isn't compatible for Windows XP. Well then, should we buy KP4? Would that work? Nope. Not that either. What?! Not compatible? Now I can understand if I had an ancient computer system, but just about EVERYTHING is compatible with XP. I am absolutely livid.....not only because my daughter was so excited to get the program that is used in her school, but that they would even sell this product stating that it is compatible with XP, when (according to their own tech support) clearly it isn't.

Comment: I was unable after many attemptsto get this prgram to work with my windows xp!! It was a major diappointment and I had NO tech support avaiable to me. This vendor did not sent it with the orginal box. It was only the disc with no support number from the place I bought it from and the manufacturer said that they could not help on this product because I had no proof of purchase!!!

Summary: Great Artistic Software
Comment: We purchased this software as recommended by my son's school. My children; 7, 5 & 3 just love it and will spend hours of unassisted time on the computer playing with all the stamps, scenes, color pages and free style painting/coloring/drawing. My youngest has a little trouble at times, finding the things that he wants to work with, but he still has a ball with all the funny noises that it makes when you click. I found that saving the work to the computer then finding it again is a little difficult (might just be me though) and the kids use the printer ink like crazy, so be warned. All in all, this is a great product and is well worth the price.

Summary: I was thrilled!
Comment: I was so thrilled when i loved this software on the computer for my so. it took a bit to load up and i thought to myself, I probably won't have enough memeory to run it. But it installed fine and started up quickly. My son loved it, there's so much for him to explore and create with. We played together to learn some of the tools. he picked up on it right away. so now he plays with it by himself. He's only 4 and I know this will last quite a few years entertaining him!
i would definitely recommend this product!

Comment: All my friends have kid pix, I am the only one that have kid pix 3,,, AND ITS THE BEST!!! i would buy it again,, And i think every artistic kid should get it! its 1,000,0000 Times better than the rest!!
