Comment: I live in extreme Northern CA on the "Redwood Coast" where salty condensation destroys everything it touches. I picked up a can of this a few years ago after looking at the back label and reading those majic words; "protects painted metal surfaces from rust and corrosion". Awesome, finally a product that addresses the topic that everyone else seems to disregard...corrosion. What good is waxing and polishing the extrerior surfaces of your car/motorcycle when everything under the hood/farings is rusting and oxidizing? Aluminum brackets turn powdery-white, bolt heads rust, etc... This "Engine Detailer" is spray-on protection from the elements! I use it on my dirt-bikes, street-bikes, cars, ATV's, etc. Better than Silkolene Pro-prep. It's absolutely awesome! It lasts for months and months. I've gone through numerous cans over the past three years and now it appears that it's been discontinued! WTF!?! Why does the best stuff always get replaced with an inferior product? Autozone used to carry it, Kragen never did. Now it's nowhere to be found. CD-2's website no longer exists either. It's $5-6 per can more from Amazon than it used to retail for at Autozone. Sweet.

Comment: I use to buy this stuff at auto zone for about 3.99 a can and then it went to 4.99 then 5.99 then auto zone used the same bar code but it came out as black magic engine detailor and cleaner in one. this stuff was not worth crap and they discontinued the good stuff, C-D2 and cant find it anywere else but the internet....THIS STUFF IS AWSOME, Iv been using it for years, it will make your engine ready for show, just remember you have to use somthing like gunk engine degreaser first or even stp eng degre...ogh cant find that anymore either....Later...........
