Customer Rating: Summary: Amazing for the price! Comment: To be completely honest I did not expect the kind of sound that this cartridge was able to produce. I bought an SL-1200 MK5 and the store I bought it at did not have the cartridge I wanted, the M97xE. I decided to get this cartridge to hold me over until the one I want comes in as I was anxious to listen to my albums. This cartridge as I understand is more for DJ applications than audiophile. The M25C tracks beautifully even on damaged vinyl. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is due to the fact it uses a conical stylus instead of a Diamond tip elliptical which means it is not the best choice to preserve vinyl as it cause more wear. Lot of bang for the buck!
