Summary: Easily put together and pretty!
Comment: I assembled this dresser in probably about an hour. It was very easy to do. Once put together it looks very nice. I don't have any problems with this product at all. :)

Comment: I purchased the Storkcraft furnature for my daugher's room, after over a year of use I am really disappointed in this furnature. The finsh scratches really easily, the drawer gliders are coming apart, this is just very cheaply made. I wish I would have purchased something else.

Summary: Nice dresser, instructions need work
Comment: This is a good quality "assemble it yourself" dresser. The fit and finish are very good overall and when completed, the appearance is on par with decent quality pre-assembled furniture. The drawers slide easily on metal double roller gliders - although the thin fiberboard bottoms feel a bit flimsy.
The box this comes in is heavy! and ours looked like it had received some rough treatment during shipping but the packing seemed to be effective at protecting the contents and nothing was damaged.
Assembly is a bit time consuming but not difficult. The only obstacle there was faulty directions. I have assembled a TON of DIY furniture since I first started buying Ikea stuff back in college and I have a pretty low bar for these multi-lingual, ESL directions - but these were flat out wrong. The pictures showed a parts configuration that was different from the parts actually shipped. This caused temporary panic while looking for a "missing" part which was shown in the directions but was not actually part of the piece. After 20 mins of head scratching, I finally realized the part was not part of this assembly and figured out how to finish assembling the dresser with the included parts some of which were not shown at all in the directions.
If Storkcraft can get the directions corrected this would be a 5 star piece at this price.

Summary: Great nursery piece for the money!
Comment: We spent big money on all of her other furniture. This was the last piece we purchased and didn't want to spend as much. However, we didn't want something "cheap" looking either. We ordered the oak color, which is beautiful. We were very impressed that it arrived packaged so well. Double layered and not a scratch on the box. The quality is good, all of the pieces were there, and my husband had it put together in 2-3 hours. It matches her other furniture perfectly. The drawers do fit a lot, but I wish they were deeper. The drawers are not as deep as they look in the picture, the wood paneled fronts just make it look that way. The top is very spacious and roomy enough to fit a nice sized lamp, CD player, and picture frames. All in all, for the price, I highly recommend. I was very nervous purchasing a furniture product online, but I am glad that we did. For the money we spent, it's good quality and perfect for her nursery.

Summary: Drawers are improperly hung & are cheap
Comment: I purchased this item on line. It appeared to be a nice product. I love the color and it gets a lot of compliments from on lookers. The main issue with this product is that the drawer holders come already attached to the interior of this unit. They were all hung incorrectly at the factory. I had to get a drill, measure each and every drawer for proper alignment and re install the factory attachments. It took over 2 hours to complete. Once I put items in the drawer (added some weight), the alignment is still a bit off. The same is true for the hutch/changing table.
Also, the items purchased came in with scratches and dents from the factory. The shipping boxes were not really that damaged and items were packaged well with a lot of Styrofoam. Luckily, the damaged areas are not that visible due to the location the items were placed in my baby's room. I also had some pens to match the paint color, as these items are the exact same color as my kitchen cabinets.
Would I purchase this item again? No. I would spend a little more and buy a better product.
